ABOUT PICTURE A DIFFERENCE

PAD is a 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to improve the sustainability of nonprofits through video.

Video is the most persuasive medium for driving community engagement, recruiting volunteers, and raising critical funds; yet most nonprofits lack the resources and expertise to produce quality videos. We are here to change that. Picture a Difference is supporting the future sustainability of community organizations by taking potential donors behind the scenes, bringing volunteers to the communities served, and increasing awareness through highly emotive videos. We rely on professional partners, volunteers, students, grants, and donations to support the authentic storytelling of our community’s impactful nonprofits.

Every nonprofit has its own story to share and unique video needs. PAD works closely with stakeholders to determine the most effective video approach for driving awareness, fundraising, and/or volunteer recruitment.

Filming

Filming

The art of capturing high quality interviews and footage requires a combination of technical equipment and story gathering expertise. We recognize the sensitive nature of nonprofit work and make the filming process a positive experience for everyone.

Post-Production

Post-Production

The story is created in post-production. Editing is the time consuming process of organizing footage, selecting clips, and producing a compelling and engaging narrative. Collaboration with stakeholders is critical to developing all of the nuances of a nonprofit’s story.
